This is the reason why Manny Pacquiao is the hottest and well appreciated fighter today. Other well known sluggers are Arturo Gatti, George Foreman, Sonny Liston, and Naseem Hamed.

The interior fighter. This fighter is not as technical as "the boxer " but he's as exciting to look on as the slugger. The inside fighter spends almost all of his time in the ring closing within his adversary and throwing heavy blows of uppercuts and hooks.

He may take some shots on his way in but an insider fighter regularly has a powerful jaw that may resist any likely damages. Some of the hottest inside wrestlers are Joe Frazer, Ricky Hatton, Mike Tyson, Julio Margarito Marco Antonio Barrera, and Julio Cesar Chaves.

There are two other boxing styles that are worth mentioning: half-breed fighter and the crowder.

Boxers may fall into more than one kind of style. This is named the half-breed fighter. There are very good boxers that are considered sluggers but their agility and capability to move round the ring makes in out-fighters. Mike Tyson who is sometimes known as a soldier is a very intense within fighter.

The crowder didn't get his name from his capability to delight the crowd but his ability to put pressure to his adversary inside the ring. Sometimes called the swarmer, this kind of pro boxers put constant pressure to their contestant through unstoppable aggression and attacks. Crowders are a rare type as there are only few fighters who have got great staying power and can continuously attack his competitor throughout the game.

A fighter won't be a crowder throughout in his fight. For example, Manny Pacquiao is considered a slugger but become a crowder in his first fight against Marco Antonio Barrera. Some preferred crowders are Ricky Hatton, Joe Frazer, and Henry Armstrong.
